sf combining existing community
center with new building
Description:
Kishimoto
Architects provided design and construction administrative services for
the City of Irvine’s first community center building targeted for
LEED®
Gold. Located within established Irvine community, University Park
Community Center is considered an infill project and consistent with
Irvine’s General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. Existing 2 story,
wood
framed community center was designed similar to the neighboring private
residences and the new community center compliments this architectural
vernacular.
