Description: The
design and development of a new Korean Youth & Community Center
Child Care Facility of approximately 4,500 square feet on a .32
acre site. Facility is located on Crenshaw Boulevard in the City of Los
Angeles. This center is nonprofit and the project is government funded.
The development incorporated the full demolition of an existing single
story commercial building and site demolition including the
over-excavation of “uncertified” soils, import and
re-compaction of new soils to attain “certification”, new
parking and play area. Internal functions include classrooms for
infants, toddlers and preschool children totaling 70 and support areas
including kitchen facilities and offices.
